Piano Music from the Modal World of Folk Music is modal and employs characteristics of Greek rhythm, syncopated figurations and polychordal sonorities. This is from Epirus the province of Greece where the composer was born. The same music has been used many times for different instrumentation. This work is dedicated and written for Prof. Christos Noulis.
